“In total, as a result of the joint operation, more than 48 kg of heroin were seized from illegal trafficking, the illegal activities of five members of the cross-border ethnic drug group were suppressed,” the FSB said.
In relation to the suspects, the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened seven criminal cases, they are arrested.
According to the FSB, the group included citizens of several countries. The operation was carried out in several stages.
Earlier, the FSB closed an underground weapons workshop in the Tomsk region.
