When the alarm came at 13.30, there was a fire in the forest of 30 by 30 meters. At 15, the rescue service Dala Mitt states that an area of four hectares, 200 by 200 meters, is burning.
- We still have no control over the fire, it is a bit inside the forest so it takes a while to extinguish. We also get help from southern Hälsingland's rescue service, says Johan Nordin, internal commander of the rescue service Dala Mitt.
According to Nordin, it should not be extremely dry in the soil.
- It's not extremely dry at all, but it's dry, he says.
