China News Service, May 20. According to the Russian Satellite Network report on the 20th, two men were arrested by US authorities for allegedly assisting Nissan ’s former chairman Ghosn to escape from Japan.

  According to reports, one of the two men arrested was Michael Taylor, a former US Special Forces soldier; the other man was named Peter Taylor. They were wanted for allegedly assisting Ghosn to escape from Japan.

  The two are expected to be interrogated by a federal judge in Worcester, Massachusetts, via video connection.

  In November 2018, Ghosn was arrested in Japan on suspicion of concealing huge amounts of personal income and embezzling company funds for private expenditures and other economic issues. Ghosn denied all the allegations. In April 2019, Ghosn was arrested again. After that, the court agreed to Ghosn's bail, but asked him not to leave Japan.

  The Japanese court originally scheduled to hear the case of Ghosn in April 2020, but Ghosn left Japan at the end of 2019 and arrived in Lebanon. In January 2020, Japan issued a new arrest warrant against Ghosn.
