It was in connection with a 30-year party at Tjörn that the men began to quarrel. Eventually, the 26-year-old became so pissed that he peeled the other, who thus fell into the asphalt and lost consciousness. A few hours later he passed away.

The prosecutor believes that the defendant's intention was never that things would go so badly, but that the 26-year-old took a conscious risk and showed recklessness by peeling. In addition to being sentenced to imprisonment for the other's death and mistreatment "of the normal degree", the man must also pay damages to several of the 25-year-old's family members, for a total of just over SEK 90,000.
