The labor court in the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, obligated the glass company to pay the late Asian workers a salary of 33 thousand and 180 dirhams, and legal benefits of 9% from the date of filing the case until full payment.

The worker had filed a suit in which he demanded that the company pay him 102 thousand and 140 dirhams for late wages and compensation for what he considered an arbitrary dismissal, and to pay him compensation for the warning allowance and compensation for the annual leave, compensation for end of service gratuity, the return ticket, payment of his residence fee, and hours Additional work.

However, the company did not submit a defense memo in response to the lawsuit and the plaintiff’s demands.

According to the lawsuit, the worker joined the company since 2009, with a job as a fiberglass manufacturing worker with an indefinite contract, with a salary of 1,800 dirhams, in contrast to what was stated in the work contract, where the plaintiff continued his job according to witnesses and performed his job to the fullest extent.

The plaintiff explained that the company refused to pay the salaries due to him, so he demanded his entitlements, but it refused, forcing him to file a complaint with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and he demanded late wages of 3780 dirhams for three months, when he was receiving a salary different from the salary stipulated in the labor contract .

He demanded that the case be referred for investigation to prove through the testimony of witnesses that his salary was 1800 dirhams, not as stated in the labor contract, and that he had paid his residence fees and costs.
