Malin Gjafap was also the program director for the symphony orchestra and spent about a year on his post. Prior to that, she was program director at the Gävle Symphony Orchestra and was basically an opera singer.
Malin Gjafap had artistic responsibility for the opera department's productions and overall artistic responsibility for the symphony orchestra's programs, as well as personnel responsibility for the opera department.
- She was an incredibly talented, driven, intelligent, heartfelt, warm person with proximity to her feelings and with big plans for the artistic activities. Malin was a dear employee who leaves a great void behind him, says Norrlandsoperan's CEO Gunilla Hägglund Sjöström in a press release.
