A 20-year-old man was arrested and taken into police custody after a shoplifting which occurred on Monday in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, reports the national police. The young man was intercepted around 12:30 p.m. by a security guard outside the Picwictoys toy store. He had hidden Pokémon game cards in his backpack. And not just a little since the damage amounted to 543.66 euros.

Asked, the police discovered that he had committed the same day another robbery in the neighboring Auchan hypermarket. This time for an amount of 623.46 euros. Always Pokemon cards he was obviously a big fan of!

In police custody, the young man admitted the facts, explaining to be a collector. He will be brought to justice in early July. The playing cards were returned to the stores.
