Specialized doctors warned against family visits, especially during the days of Eid Al-Fitr, and they demanded no complacency in the application of legal penalties and recently announced fines, in order to prevent and limit the spread of the "Covid-19" epidemic, and the danger it poses to the elderly, people with chronic diseases.
The official spokesman for the health sector in the country, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, stressed the need to properly wear masks for all members of society, as it was noticed that some people covered the mouth without the nose, which exposes him and others to the risks of infection, and demanded that the law be applied to them as not fully committed to them.
She warned against all forms of family visits and gatherings completely, especially during the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, noting that it was observed that many people misunderstood the amendment of the dates of national sterilization, as if it were a license to go out and visit, which resulted in an increase in the numbers of people affected by one family, so It is necessary for everyone to abide by the law, and take responsibility towards society as a whole.
Community medicine specialist, spokesperson for the Emirates Public Health Association, Dr. Saif Darwish, said that adherence to the decisions and recommendations of family gatherings, and wearing masks, is the responsibility of everyone towards himself and his community, especially during the period of Eid Al-Fitr.
He stressed the lack of direct communication between individuals and families during the Eid period, and that communication should be hypothetical instead of visiting, and dispense with the customs of peace and collision entirely.
Chest Diseases Consultant, Dr. Sherif Fayed, explained that not wearing masks exposes a person to a lot of nasal fluids, which are loaded with viruses, and that are widely spread by non-adherent patients, calling for the need to tighten penalties for those who do not adhere to the controls of wearing masks. He stressed the necessity of limiting the phenomenon of family visits and gatherings permanently, especially during the period of Eid Al-Fitr, noting that the necessity may require canceling the Hajj for this year, as prayer in mosques has been prohibited, and family visits are not more holy than these sacred rites.
The Attorney General of the State, Counselor Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, had decided to update the list of previously announced violations, fines and administrative penalties, issued by a decision of the Council of Ministers, and thickening some of them according to the requirements of the public interest, to suit the current situation, and the government’s tendency to gradually reduce the restrictions related to With precautionary measures to combat "Covid-19".

The regulation of administrative penalties stipulated that everyone who holds private or public gatherings or celebrations will be subject to a fine of 10 thousand dirhams for the person who invited, and 5,000 dirhams for the participant. Enclosed or walking around.
