- We have to go out and inform so that we get a stop on this, says Pär Gerhardsson, manager at P4 Kvarn.

When the firing range in Kvarn, east of Motala, is used for firing exercises, the field is closed off with bars with warning signs. Despite this, people from the public have entered the area with a ban on access. Last thing happened a few weeks ago. Per-Olof Eriksson was exercise leader.

- After our shooting was over, I came across an unauthorized person, who wandered around my risk area for probably an hour, Eriksson says.

The person in question had been in the firing direction and thus could have been injured or even dead. When the military does not practice various forms of shooting, it is actually allowed to move both on roads and in nature in the field of shooting and training.

However, anyone entering the area has an obligation to inform themselves at the information boards located where roads enter the area. However, during firing exercises, there is a total ban on access. Nowadays, the Swedish Armed Forces chooses to report all offenses to the police.
