According to STRANA.ua, this decision was made at a government meeting. 

The Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergey Marchenko noted that Kiev is going to send to the IMF Board of Directors a letter of intent from the government of the National Bank and a memorandum on economic and financial policy, which is signed by the president, prime minister and head of the NBU.

The head of the Ministry of Finance said that the corresponding document will be signed before the end of the month, and the total amount of the program is $ 5 billion.

Earlier, Ivanna Vladkova Gollar, who previously headed the mission in Moldova and Northern Macedonia, was appointed the new head of the IMF mission in Ukraine.
