On the morning of May 20th, the online video interview room of the press center of the Third Session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee was officially opened.

It is reported that the third session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference welcomes Chinese and foreign journalists for interviews. Interviews do not use on-site "face-to-face" methods. Media reporters mainly conduct interviews through online video and in writing. Each committee station has set up an online video interview room to facilitate news media interview members who really need video interviews.

Media reporters can, according to the arrangement of the member's residence, apply for a small video application via WeChat or submit an online video interview application to the news liaison of each member's residence, and fill in the relevant application information. After soliciting the opinions of the members, the press team of the conference arranged the online video interview activities in accordance with the usage of the online video interview booth. After the time is determined, the reporter will be notified in time. Online video interviews can use video conferencing / chat software such as Dingding, Tencent Meeting, QQ, WeChat, and Zoom. In principle, each online video interview should not exceed 20 minutes. The "News Center" webpage of the CPPCC official website opens a "Network Video Interview" area to gather relevant information and works in a timely manner, and welcome the attention, reprint, and dissemination of Chinese and foreign reporters. Journalists may also interview through the internet, video, etc. without the committee ’s meeting or rest after obtaining the committee ’s consent.
