They are barely 13, 14 and 15 years old and are now incarcerated in a juvenile establishment, suspected of acts of particular gravity. The three teenagers were arrested on Friday May 15 in Toulouse, shortly after 8 p.m., in the Compans-Caffarelli district where they spread terror by threatening, attacking and injuring passers-by.

According to police sources, the trio targeted young girls in their twenties, whose jewelry, handbag or phones they coveted. In a limited period of time, the adolescent girls attacked two groups of two women, not hesitating to take out their knife and use it. One of the victims, injured in the back on several occasions, had to be transported to the hospital and was prescribed ten days of temporary work interruption (ITT). Another was stabbed in the calf.

Violent, including in police custody

The teenage girls were stopped by a crew from the anti-crime brigade after a call to the emergency police. During the police custody that followed, one of them hit a police officer in the face.

The Toulouse prosecutor's office decided to open a judicial inquiry, in particular for assaults, attempted extortion and theft committed in meetings. The two older suspects were already known to the police. The third, the 13-year-old, had never been talked about until now.
