The City Council of Cartagena ( Murcia ) has closed a bar whose interior were evacuated last night by the Local Police 268 people and 5 employees who completed almost the entire capacity on the interior terrace, with groups of more than 10 people at the tables, what that breaches the alarm state.
According to municipal sources, it is on Gabriela Mistral street , in the Peral neighborhood , where they did not keep the security distance, and it has been sealed by the Department of Sustainable City and European Projects , which records the history of non-compliance with regulations by of the premises whose license as a cultural association canteen dates from 2014.
Since then, it has been required to remove unauthorized music equipment and to stop live music performances, and files have been opened for expanding the facilities without authorization.
This is the first closing of a bar in Cartagena in Phase 1 of the escalation , in which the local police has handled 92 complaints for breach of the restrictions imposed by the state of alarm by the pandemic of the coronavirus , six of them local .
