By declaring on May 14 that cafes and restaurants "in the green zones  " could reopen next month, Edouard Philippe sent an important message of hope all over France. The city of Lyon does the same this Tuesday by announcing that it "authorizes the installation of summer terraces and terraces on parking lots from June 2", and this subject to validation of the openings by the government.

Pending this pivotal perspective, Lyonnais traders will be able to install their terraces and use them for their deliveries of take-out meals. Municipal decrees will be issued from next week, with the key to possible tolerances of temporary terrace extensions.

The town hall also indicates that these facilities will be able to benefit from an “authorization extended by one month”, ie until the end of October for parking terraces and the end of November for summer terraces.
