The efforts, which the Stockholm Police called "Insert Cod", have been given extra attention because a well-known television profile was among the six buyers who were taken on the bar deed. But it was not just the profile that was seized by that effort. A total of 28 men were arrested.

- We had a look at about 20 addresses prior to this effort and switched to several addresses at the same time, says response manager Anders Olofsson.

He is one of the police officers working with the efforts against the sex buyers. Anders Olofsson tells SVT's Morning Study that the perpetrators who are trapped are different types of men.

"Different backgrounds"

- It is very different, the youngest we got stuck in this effort was 21 years and the oldest 68. Then it is about people from all walks of life and from different backgrounds, he says.

According to Anders Olofsson, almost everyone admits that they have committed a crime when they are arrested by the police.

- Some are shocked and angry but most are ashamed. Many have families and start to think straight away "how am I going to get out of this without the family finding out?", He says.

And even though the police have a look at addresses where people suspect that people will come to buy sex, the dark figure is large.

- People don't think they should get stuck. The statistics say that one in ten men buys six, so you hide in the crowd, says Anders Olofsson.

"A needle in a haypile"

Crime Inspector Simon Häggström, who also visited the Morning Studio, agrees with the dark figure.

- It's huge. We make a bet for a week and grab 28. It's just a needle in a haystack. Many claim that it is the first time they have bought sex when they are arrested, but the probability of getting caught is very small, he says.

And both cops see a change in the sex trade. Ten years ago, this was a single street with the area where most sex purchases took place in, for example, Stockholm. But when ads moved out online, it became more widespread.

- There are pages that are designed to only post ads to sell sex, says Anders Olofsson.

- But we will continue with this type of work we do with civilian scouting in different places. We do this as often as we can, he continues.
