Anoprienko said that in late March - early April, an outbreak of forest fires was recorded. The current situation, according to him, is associated with an abnormal heat in several regions of Siberia and the regime of self-isolation.

Along with this, he indicated a decrease in the average area of the fire.

“We are seeing a decrease in the average area of one forest fire from almost 200 hectares, this figure was last year, to 150 this year,” he said.
