 Doctors stressed the necessity of avoiding every habit or practice that was followed by societal or religious customs and traditions during this period, especially with the approaching blessed Eid Al-Fitr, which is celebrated with many aspects of celebration, most of which may have caused transmission.

The Director General of the Health Authority in Dubai, Hamid Al Qatami, has recently revealed monitoring of an increase in the number of injuries among citizens during the last two weeks, particularly since the beginning of Ramadan, attributing this to some societal habits such as family visits and gatherings during the holy month.

 Community medicine specialist, spokesperson for the Emirates Public Health Association, Dr. Saif Darwish emphasized that everyone should bear the responsibility towards himself and his community in the first place, and stay away from all customs and traditions that were used previously to reduce the spread of infection, especially with the approaching Eid Al-Fitr.

He advised avoiding the practices of buying clothes, measuring them in the shops, and replacing them with electronic shopping operations, as well as boycotting the customs of Moroccan baths before the holidays, as was the practice previously.

With regard to family communication, he stressed the necessity of relying on modern technology means to communicate voice and sight with others, and to reduce family visits and gatherings as possible.
