China Earthquake Observation and local media reported that a magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred near Chao Jia County, Jiaotong City, Yunnan Province, at 9:47 pm local time yesterday (18th), and a 3.5 aftershock occurred at 4:35 am today. .
The Earthquake Bureau of Yunnan Province said two people were killed and 23 others injured in the Xiaohe Town.
As the specific damages of the 14 nearby villages have not been identified, the number of casualties may increase.
