OL Groupe, the listed holding company covering Olympique Lyonnais, a Ligue 1 resident, announced Tuesday that it has further increased its participation in the LDLC Asvel basketball club, to bring it to 33.33% of the capital.

The company headed by Jean-Michel Aulas had initially acquired 25% of the shares of the most successful French basketball clubs. It had increased to 31.67% a few months later.

The Asvel shares acquired were paid by delivery to the assignors, who are not identified, of 72,949 self-owned OL shares.

OL Groupe and Asvel have not stopped tightening their ties since the commitment of their cooperation, in June 2919, to the point that the owner of the second, ex-star of parquet Tony Parker, now appears as a possible successor of M Aulas.
