A fatal diving accident occurred this Tuesday at the end of the morning in the Locquirec sector in northern Finistère, we learned from the Maritime Prefecture of the Atlantic. A Samu helicopter and two SNSM boats were immediately mobilized to rescue the freediver. Despite several resuscitation attempts, the victim was declared dead by a Samu doctor at 12:15 p.m. According to Le Télégramme , the man was 68 years old and was participating in a group dive.
