The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the articles of the executive regulations regarding the law regulating the transportation and transplantation of human organs, which specify the conditions for licensing health practitioners, health facilities for carrying out transplants and transplants for human tissues, and controls for donation.
The regulation specified five controls, which must be met for conducting reciprocal transfer of human organs, namely: “that there are two patients who need organ transplantation or human tissue, and there is no close relationship between them up to the fourth degree, and that a donor be available from each patient provided that he be close to him to the degree Fourth, and that both donors agree to donate mutually to the other patient with which he has a relationship of kinship, and that doctors acknowledge that it is medically possible to donate to the benefit of patients by exchange, and to make a pledge and acknowledgment from each of the donors not to claim any compensation between them, regardless of the outcome The farming process The regulation, which "Emirates Today" obtained a copy of, two conditions for licensing health facilities that wish to grow and transport human organs, are represented in obtaining a license from the competent health authority before the start of the activity, and that the health facility has the facilities, supplies, human resources and infrastructure Necessary, in proportion to the field in which you wish to work.
And the regulations stipulated that the doctor who performs the process of transferring and transplanting organs, human parts and tissues, must have a license from the competent authority, and have a competence recognized by the health authority.
It also obligated the doctor to sign a declaration, stating that he was familiarized with the legislation in force in the country, in the field of transportation and transplantation of human organs and tissues, and abiding by it.
