The Zlatan statue, which was vandalized and knocked down outside the Stadium in Malmö, has found itself in repair at a secret location. Many have submitted so-called citizen proposals on where to stand in the future.

The statue is a tourist attractionWhen the municipal council's working committee had a meeting on Tuesday, it was decided that the question of where the statue should stand should be investigated.
- It may take a while before we arrive. It is important that it becomes a location that is accessible to citizens and tourists, says Frida Trollmyr.
Can the Zlatan statue be placed indoors?
- There have been suggestions that the statue should be inside the central station, but we will do a thorough investigation. This is a question that raises a lot of emotions and it is important that we have a broad dialogue and that it must take time to be good.
The group that will prepare a proposal for a new placement includes people from the relevant committees (culture, leisure and technical) as well as representatives of Malmö FF. At the beginning of June, the municipal council will address the issue of the Zlatan statue's continued fate and location.
