The draft law “On the expected period of paying the funded pension for 2021” suggests that from 2021 the term for calculating the funded pension of Russians will increase from 258 to 264 months (or 22 years) in connection with the data from Rosstat about increasing life expectancy.
Thus, for example, with a total amount of savings of 100 thousand rubles, the monthly payment to pensioners in 2021 will amount to 378 rubles, compared with 387 rubles in the current year. In the case of savings of 1 million, the monthly payment will amount to 3.78 thousand rubles instead of 3.87 thousand rubles.
“The duration of the expected period of its payment is determined annually by federal law on the basis of official statistics. In accordance with the calculations made on the basis of Rosstat data, the expected period of the funded pension payment for 2021 will be 264 months (22 years), ”the press service of the Ministry of Labor explained.
Earlier, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) proposed raising pensions and salaries to state employees by 5-10% to increase the demand for goods and services in the context of the situation with coronavirus.
