The Great Mosque of Lyon is keen to participate in the French “solidarity and support boost” for healthcare staff. Its rector Kamel Kabtane indicates that the religious institution will distribute 150 meals of Ramadan this Monday (6 p.m.) at the Edouard Herriot hospitals (pavilion H) and Mermoz.

Both located in the 8th arrondissement of Lyon like the Grande Mosquée de Lyon, hospitals will therefore share an iftar (end of fast meal). "This action contributes to the consideration that we want to give to these women and men, who during this period faced this pandemic with courage and selflessness," says Kamel Kabtane.
