It took investigators about ten days to find the pot and go back to the suspects. Two people were arrested as part of an open investigation after the theft of numerous bottles of Grands Crus stolen from the Michelin-starred restaurant l'Auberge de l'Ile, in the 9th arrondissement of Lyon.

The bottles of great vintages, spirits and champagne had been stolen during confinement in a room located not far from the starred inn, where they were stored. A theft, the damage of which had been evaluated at nearly 200,000 euros, recalls Le Progrès in its edition of the day.

The police did not have to look far to find the suspects. The owner of the room in question was arrested as was a wine merchant. The first was left free. The second suspect was to be presented to the Lyon public prosecutor's office with a view to opening judicial information, adds the regional daily.
