On May 17, China Eastern Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "Eastern Airlines") officially opened the international cargo route from Shenzhen to Los Angeles. This is another important measure for China Eastern to accelerate the company's strategy for the Greater Bay Area following the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between China Eastern and Shenzhen Airport Group in January this year. It is also its specific action to maintain the stability of the global supply chain.

At 10:18 a.m. on the same day, China Eastern Airlines completed an A330-200 wide-body aircraft with a "refitted aircraft" that completed the removal of the passenger seats. Taking off, the first flight is expected to arrive in Los Angeles at 8:07 local time on the 17th. (Reporter Guo Jun editor Le Xiaomin)
