Chairman of the Medical Association: "Want to see national waiting list"

The National Board of Health and Welfare should be given additional mandate to coordinate the care queues, says Heidi Stensmyren. According to her, the government should also instruct the National Board of Health to look at a national waiting list, so that people do not have to wait longer for care depending on where in the country they live.

Social Minister Lena Hallengren (S) does not rule out what Heidi Stensmyren proposes.

- But there is no region that has overcapacity to be able to offer care to others. This is about working together and collaborating, says the Minister of Social Affairs in SVT's Aktuellt.
