According to the agency, we are talking about 34 new cases of COVID-19 in Jilin Province, where bus and train services were stopped, schools were closed, and “tens of thousands of citizens” were isolated.

According to the South China Morning Post, the small town of Shulan in Jilin Province was blocked due to the threat of the spread of infection.

It is noted that the new restrictions resemble those that were introduced in Wuhan, where the first cases of COVID-19 were recorded in December.

Introduced restrictions in the city are allowed to leave the house every two days and only to one person per family in order to purchase basic necessities.

Earlier in China, it was reported that seven new cases of the active course of the disease with coronavirus were recorded per day, as well as 18 asymptomatic carriers of the infection were detected.
