A “lying table” according to Laetitia Avia

In the article, the member is accused of mockery on the physical, the dress of activists or an elected official and of humiliation, harassment and abuse of power over her collaborators. Are also mentioned words deemed sexist, racist or homophobic in his exchanges with his team. The MP announced that she would file a defamation complaint against the Mediapart journalist, speaking of "false accusations" and "manipulation".

“Some (of the collaborators) left, none of them ever complained of harassment. Almost all of them asked me after their departure, to ask me for advice, recommendations, or simply to give me their news - far from the false picture portrayed by the Mediapart article, ”she reacted on Twitter.

The anti-harassment unit of the Assembly seized

At the start of the confinement, the same journalist had, in an article published by Liberation , accused the member of having "moved heaven and earth to bring back to the capital one of her collaborators, sick and on vacation".

The Presidents of the National Assembly and of the LREM group were notified of the matter. The anti-harassment cell launched in February was also seized, along with the ethics officer. The deputy must speak Monday evening before the executive office of LREM, of which she is a member, "but there is no convocation or hearing on the agenda" related to this case, learned l 'AFP with the movement.
