A man was arrested by a police officer who left on social media to take a 'travel picture' taken while playing in Hawaii.

Foreign news sources, including The New York Times, reported on Tuesday that local 23-year-old Tariq Peters, who was living in New York, was arrested for finding a failure to comply with self-containment rules in Hawaii.

Hawaii has ruled that all tourists who visit the island to prevent the spread of Corona19 infection must be self-contained for 14 days. According to policy, Peters, who arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii on the 11th, had to stay in the hotel room until the 24th.

However, Mr. Peters ignored this and went on an outdoor tour, revealing his actions on social media. On the beach, I uploaded a photo of a smiling smile with a large surfboard, and I photographed and posted the scenery of Waikiki Beach, where the sunset is reflected.

Hawaiian citizens were furious when they found posts from Peters on social media. That's because Peters arrived in Hawaii just two days after posting a post and found out that he was traveling to tourist attractions such as the beach.

Several citizens have reached Mr. Peters to report to the police. On the morning of the 15th, the police arrested Mr. Peters for violating a self-containment order. It is known that the bail money is as much as 4,000 dollars, or about 4.92 million won in our money.

As this fact became known, criticism was poured into Peter's social media. In a post posted by Peters saying that "I heard New York was cold," a netizen replied, "Prison would be pretty cold."
