Both passengers, even those in their 50s, were taken to hospital for care. A woman was flown in an ambulance helicopter to the university hospital in Umeå and a man was taken in an ambulance to the Lycksele laser hospital. The health care has not gone out with the injury situation yet.
Rescue crews were alerted at the 23:30 on Saturday night after a resident woke up because the passenger car crashed into a tree in the garden, according to police reports.
The driver is now suspected of drunk driving and causing bodily harm. The passenger car has been seized and for a technical examination.
