Emirati designer Afra Al Abdullah launched a special initiative to design and sew holiday clothes for female nurses and doctors in national survey centers spread across the Emirates, in line with the Thank You campaign, the first line of defense, and in accordance with the precautionary measures used to limit the spread of the "Corona" virus.

The designer Afra Al Abdullah told Emirates Today that her personal initiative comes within the framework of her social responsibility to support women working in the first line of defense in these exceptional circumstances, and support the efforts of the UAE in tackling the Corona virus (Covid-19), pointing out that she thought a lot in Volunteering to serve the country in the current crisis, but because of her care for her elderly parents and the fact that they suffer from chronic diseases, she was unable to volunteer for her fear for them.

Afra Al Abdullah designer explained that her initiative aims to design Eid clothes and sew them for workers in the first line of defense by communicating with them and taking their sizes and then sewing and delivering them according to the precautionary procedures followed in this regard, as the clothes will be completely sterilized and wrapped and then sterilized and delivered through an approved delivery company according to Health requirements to limit the spread of the Corona virus.

She pointed out that the targets of the initiative are the female nurses and doctors working in the medical teams in hospitals and national survey centers in the fight against "Corona", pointing out that this initiative was launched personally and helped her to reach the workers her friends by spreading the initiative on their accounts and accounts in social media from Facebook Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat, as it was very popular, confirming that due to lack of time it was not possible to take all workers now, but it will continue to design clothes for all workers who reached their names until Eid al-Adha to provide appropriate and modern clothes for them.

She indicated that she aims from her initiative to design 300 pieces of dresses, abayas and other clothes that suit every worker in the first line of defense, indicating that she owns a fashion agency and has made many offers for international designs and Emirati clothing.

She clarified that her personal initiatives are considered one of the initiatives that aim to support the efforts of the state and workers in the first line of defense that watches us and our distance from their children and their families to protect members of society and combat the epidemic that has swept the world, noting that she is fortunate to be from the Emirates that supported him at the beginning of her scientific and practical career and provided her with the environment for innovation And creativity, which contributed to giving her the privilege and facilities in the field of design until she became one of the successful young women, and made her a pioneer in the business, and this initiative is a small part to return the favor to the homeland.
