May 17, 2020 An explosion at a hash oil producer in downtown Los Angeles injured 11 firefighters who entered the building after an initial report of a fire.

Firefighters were initially called to 327 East Boyd St. in the city's Toy District to report a fire in a one-story commercial building. After their entry, the explosion occurs.

At that point more than 200 firefighters rush to the scene. The fire spread to several nearby buildings, but the firefighters then extinguished it in about an hour.
