The Director General of Dubai Municipality, Eng. Dawood Al Hajri, said that the municipality considered that the major parks in the emirate should not be opened during Eid Al Fitr days, as a precautionary measure to prevent gatherings and mixing during this period. Stressing that "the option to stay at home is still the best and safest to maintain the health of members of society with the need to adhere to the procedures for social separation and wearing masks."
He added that the municipality's facilities in the interior courtyards of residential areas will open on Eid, while emphasizing the commitment of all its visitors to the need to adhere to precautionary measures.
