In France, more than 28,000 people have died in connection with the Covid-19 since March 1, including 483 in the last 24 hours, according to the report released on Sunday, May 17, by the Ministry of Health.

The increase is the largest in recent weeks. It is mainly due to deaths in nursing homes and other medico-social establishments (+429 compared to Saturday, against +54 in the hospital).

On the other hand, hospitalizations and admissions to intensive care continue to decline.
