The other night Susanne Widell woke up at half past four and when she looked out she saw that the bats were out flying. During the days they are usually not visible but in the evening and at dawn they can get a glimpse of the flying animals.

- It's fun to see them when they're out. We think the moms are training their kids to navigate, ”says Susanne Widell.

Every day she goes into the guest house to look after so that no kids have navigated wrong and flew in there instead of flying out through the chimney. Sometimes she finds dead bats in there.

When she finds live bats in the cabin, she takes them out and puts them on a tree in the back of the house and hopes they will recover.

- I found a live yesterday morning that was grinding on me and I would help her, says Susanne Widell.

The first time they discovered that bats moved into the yard outside Kåremo was when Susanne Widell would clean the cabin before the grandchildren would come to visit.

- Then I found a bat hanging in the curtain.

Susanne and Bengt Erik have contacted the County Administrative Board, because they would like to know what this kind of bat is, but have nothing against their small tenants.

- They don't attack and they eat up all the mosquitoes. The only concern is when people come here who live here and who don't like bats.
