China News Service, May 17 (Xinhua) According to foreign media reports, Afghan President Ghani and the former government chief Abdullah signed a power sharing agreement on the 17th, ending the months of power struggle. Earlier, Abdullah and Ghani "singed against Taiwan", causing Afghanistan to have a "parallel government" and "dual president" dilemma. This power struggle has caused Afghanistan to fall into an internal crisis.

Ghani spokesman Cedik Sedic wrote on social media "Twitter" on the 17th that President Ghani and Abdullah had just signed a political agreement. Abdullah will chair the High Commission for National Reconciliation, and his team members will also join the cabinet.

In September last year, Afghanistan held a presidential election, and Ghani was elected president. However, Abdullah, who participated in the election, did not recognize the results of the election. On March 9, he and Ghani announced their inauguration and formed a "parallel government." The two sides then launched political consultations on the formation of an inclusive and united government.

The internal political consultations in Afghanistan have made a breakthrough in the signing of this agreement, and the internal conflicts in Afghanistan have eased.
