United States: Obama indirectly criticizes Trump for his management of the epidemic

In the United States, the virtual face-to-face meeting between Donald Trump and Barack Obama continues. While the current president continues to cry out against the plot, dubbed "Obamagate", the former Democratic president took advantage of a virtual graduation ceremony to indirectly criticize the management of the health crisis by the White House.

Invited to speak at the ceremony of the network of black universities, Barack Obama called on young graduates to "  invest and seize their chance in this period when the country's leaders seem to be groping in the face of the Coronavirus crisis  ".

“  This pandemic has finally revealed the fact that many of our leaders do not know what they are doing. Some do not even try to pretend !  added Obama.

A barely veiled criticism addressed to the current American administration.
In response, the current president has once again tweeted in capital letters: "  OBAMAGATE  ".

In the same speech yesterday, Barack Obama also underlined the dramatic consequences of the Covid-19, and more broadly of racism, on the black community. 

We see it in the number of significant contaminations ... As we see when a black man is jogging and people decide to arrest, interrogate and shoot him if he does not answer their questions  , said Barack Obama. 

For Barack Obama, this situation shows "  that the status quo is not working and that much remains to be done for the black American community  ".
