The situation in Italy is positive, in the week of the first reopenings with the resumption of work, according to the data of the Cabin of the Ministry of Health-ISS-Regions on the monitoring of the spread of Codiv-19 in Italy. "The lockdown measures in Italy have effectively allowed a control of the COVID-19 infection on the national territory even in a context of persistent widespread transmission of the virus with a very different incidence in the 21 Regions". This is what we read in the monitoring report of the Ministry of Health and the Higher Institute of Health on the situation in Phase 2.

"Signs of transmission remain - it is pointed out in the document - with new outbreaks reported that describe an epidemiologically fluid situation in many Italian regions. This requires strict compliance with the measures necessary to reduce the risk of transmission such as individual hygiene and physical distancing" .

Finally, according to the report "a rapid strengthening of the territorial services for the prevention and response to COVID-19 is necessary to face any epidemic ups and downs during the transition phase".

In 18 Regions / PA there is a "low probability of an increase in transmission and a low impact on welfare services". Among these, there are 10 Region / PA "with a low and intermediate-low weekly incidence, in which the lock-down prevented the spread of the infection; 8 with a high and intermediate-high incidence, with a complex but controlled situation ". In 6 Regions we report "an evolving and fluid epidemiological situation due to the presence of transmission foci to be monitored carefully".

In detail, the situation is evolving in Molise and Umbria. Molise, In the week of May 4-10, went "from a low to moderate classification, due to an outbreak of transmission identified in the area and currently under control, without signs of overload of the welfare structures".

In Umbria, the weekly classification went from "low to moderate due to an increase in the number of cases and an Rt greater than 1, but" in a context still with a reduced number of reported cases and which, therefore, does not raise a particular alert ".

The situation in Lombardy is different. Here, explains the report of the control room, the weekly classification is "moderate, but there is a reduction in the signs of overload of the health services". In this region, however, "the number of new cases reported every week albeit decreasing remains high".
