Chinese doctors have warned that patients recovering from the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), can experience many long-term health problems.

The Chinese National Health Commission issued a new set of guidelines, and classified the long-term effects of "Covid 19".

Chinese experts say that a number of patients who have recovered from epidemic disease will continue to seek treatment for lung and heart damage, while others may experience movement problems, due to muscle weakness or mental disorders.

Most of those who contract coronavirus have mild symptoms and recover from minimal long-term health problems. However, severe cases can suffer from complications and organ damage, such as arrhythmias or angina, and in many cases require later care, according to doctors.

The new advice from the Chinese National Health Committee warns that patients can continue to suffer from depression, insomnia, eating disorders and many mental and neurological problems.
