Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) announced the participation of «VPS» Healthcare Group in the national survey project launched by the Abu Dhabi government in its efforts to combat the emerging corona virus, by operating a survey center in the Mussafah area with a capacity of 3500 references a day.
The new center has 50 employees, including doctors, nurses and technicians.
The center was launched in cooperation with the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health, Abu Dhabi Police, the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, the Department of Municipalities and Transport, and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.
The outpatient treatment services, a facility of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), is overseeing the project, which allows examination of 335,000 residents and workers in the Mussafah Industrial Area.
The operation of the center took a record time, with the aim of facilitating the target group's access to the survey centers, raising awareness of prevention methods and limiting the spread of the virus. The center provides a safe screening trip for auditors, following social divergence and non-contact throughout the examination stages.
Upon reaching the center, the reviewers are divided into three categories: the first is those who have no symptoms and represent the green category, and dealing with them is limited to health education before they leave the center, and the second is those who have mild symptoms, representing the yellow group and having a nasal smear. As for the third, they have severe symptoms and represent the red category, and the doctor checks them and performs additional tests for them through the mobile clinic located on the site, which conducts x-rays, electrocardiograms and blood tests for the patients who might be infected with the virus, and transports the critical cases to the hospital.
The results arrive through text messages, and in the event that the result is positive, the hospital communicates with the auditors to schedule appointments to see the doctor in the clinic for people living with HIV, which was created at the Life Line Hospital, Life Care, Mediator and Burjeel in Abu Dhabi, to follow up and treat them according to the standards of the Abu Dhabi Health Department.
