He also reviewed the future plans and initiatives and the approved mechanisms to ensure the progress of work in accordance with the specific plans to ensure the safety of workers and volunteers, and helps to reach initiatives and programs for those who are entitled to them without delay, noting the importance of strengthening the axis of health care and disease control by working to rehabilitate local and Arab medical cadres, and support research and experience Scientific research in the field of viral diseases, developing forward-looking strategies for investigating epidemics and ways to address them, and developing effective partnerships with regional and international medical and research institutions in this field.

The members of the International City for Humanitarian Services, from international organizations and bodies, have managed 1070 humanitarian and relief aid shipments in 2019 to many countries in need with a value of 246 million dirhams.

The city also supported the distribution of more than one thousand tons of aid and relief materials in 13 shipments, at a value of 18 million dirhams.

The Emirates Food Bank collected 13,488 tons of food distributed to the needy in the Emirates.

The Dubai Cares Foundation programs benefited more than 20 million people in 59 countries, and the Foundation invested more than 21 million dirhams to support research in improving the quality of education in schools.
