The Popular Party wants to audit in Congress the policy of the Interior Ministry regarding the organization's prisoners during the state of alarm. And that is why he has presented a battery of questions to the Government in parliament to clarify all the prison benefits granted to ETA prisoners.

Thus, the PP asks how many ETA prisoners have benefited during the state of alarm from the prison policy being carried out by the Executive, "in which the rapprochement and progression of degrees to the prisoners of the ETA terrorist organization. "

The PP insists on one of its complaints regarding the granting of benefits to imprisoned members of ETA: they are granted "without complying with the requirement that the law requires to collaborate with Justice ."

This parliamentary initiative comes after the latest movements of the Department led by Grande Marlaksa : the recent transfer of the terrorist Álvaro Juan Arri Pascual - sentenced to 208 years in prison -, the granting of the approach to the terrorist Josune Oña - condemned for collaboration with ETA- and the proposal for the progression of José Ramón Foruria's degree - an accomplice in the Éibar attack that cost four civil guards their lives.

Specifically, the PP asks: "How many prisoners of the terrorist organization ETA have been granted a grade progression , a transfer or approach to prisons closest to their residences or any other prison benefit during the State of Alarm, as a result of the COVID 19? "

He also questions, about ETA prisoners "they have been transferred to prisons near their homes and how many have obtained progression of grade, probation or any other prison benefit in the last year."

The PP breaks down the questions about each of the prisoners and the technical reasons that the Government has taken into account to carry out these latest approaches.

"What exactly does it mean that the imprisoned ETA terrorists will progress by grade and will be approached to penitentiaries closest to their places of residence when the treatment boards of the penitentiary centers appreciate the 'necessary circumstances'," the PP also asks. .

The formation led by Pablo Casado wonders if this interior prison dynamic "brings about the negotiations led by the PSOE with EH Bildu to add to this formation the motion of censure and, secondly, the investiture of the Government".

It is questioned whether the government is already carrying out "a policy of massive rapprochement of ETA prisoners to the prisons of the Basque Country."
