China News Service, May 15 According to news from the website of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, on May 13, the South Korean government issued an announcement for foreigners. The following three types of personnel are requested to carry out the new crown virus nucleic acid test in time:

  1. According to the doctor's diagnosis, patients with unexplained pneumonia or suspected new coronary pneumonia.

  2. Those who have a history of overseas travel and have fever (above 37.5 degrees) or respiratory symptoms (cough, dyspnea, etc.) within 14 days of entering Korea.

  3. Those who are related to a mass infection in Korea and have fever (above 37.5 degrees) or respiratory symptoms (cough, dyspnea, etc.) within 14 days.

The above personnel, regardless of nationality and detention status, are entitled to the same treatment as Korean nationals and are subject to free testing. If you have any suspected symptoms, please call the Korean Department of Disease Management 1339 for consultation, and then go to the nearby health center for testing. When an illegally detained person is treated for new coronary pneumonia, the medical institution will not notify the Korean immigration department of its illegal detention and will suspend relevant law enforcement measures.

In view of the recent increase in the number of confirmed infections caused by the collective infection incident in Itaewon, the Chinese Embassy in South Korea reminded Chinese citizens in South Korea to continue to strengthen personal protection and minimize going out, and do not go to crowded places. Do not go out when there is a suspected symptom, and consult a doctor in time.
