"The United States will continue to impose export restrictions on most US technologies for Huawei and related companies that threaten US national security and international stability," a Pompeo statement said on the State Department website.
Earlier, Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi at the Munich Security Conference said that 5G technologies introduced by Chinese company Huawei pose a threat to the United States because of its cheapness.
