The head of government held a video conference from the hospital. He called positive the correction of the situation by bringing to the medical facilities the funds allocated for these payments.
“I ask you, together with regional leaders, to monitor not only the delivery of funds to medical institutions, but also payments to each specific health worker, and I will report this on Monday (May 18),” Mishustin told the head of the Federal Treasury, Roman Artyukhin.
On May 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out problems with surcharges to health workers.
On May 13, the head of state noted that work on payments to doctors “began to boil” only after his criticism.
