LDP New Corona Additional Economic Measures Proposal to subsidies to agriculture and forestry companies May 16 4:39

As an additional economic measure following the spread of the new coronavirus, the LDP will recommend to the government that it will subsidize agricultural and forestry companies working to expand sales channels.

Following the spread of the new coronavirus, the Liberal Democratic Party is considering additional economic measures to formulate the second supplementary budget for this year.

Specifically, subsidies of up to 1.5 million yen will be given to agricultural and forestry companies working to expand sales channels, and "bonus" payments will be given to producers of beef calves affected by chilling consumption. And so on.

The policy is also to specify the creation of a fund to support artists, athletes, and entertainment companies.

In order to further support single-parent households, we are considering an increase in child-rearing allowances and will make a proposal to the government next week.

On the other hand, five opposition parties such as the Constitutional Democratic Party, on the 15th, will provide a new special benefit to support single-parent parents and other child-rearing households, and in fact, have submitted a bill that more than doubles the allowance for children. Talks are expected to continue between the government and the ruling and opposition parties.
