In two years, almost 10 million cars drove along the Crimean bridge

“Over the two years of operation, 9.5 million vehicles drove along the Crimean bridge, including over a million trucks and more than 120 thousand buses. This is almost twice as much as the Kerch ferry transported, starting from 2015 - 5.1 million vehicles, ”RIA Novosti Crimea reports a message from the Crimean Bridge information center.

It is noted that during this time, car owners and freight carriers, using a free bridge, saved more than 35 billion rubles.

The information center recalled that in 2019, almost 7.5 million vacationers visited the Crimea, of which more than half arrived over the bridge.

Earlier, Olga Kovitidi, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, a representative from the executive body of the state power of the Republic of Crimea, assessed the development of the peninsula's economy in an interview with Nation News.
