As Ratas noted, thanks to the joint efforts, the situation with COVID-19 has improved significantly and no emergency is needed to deal with it.

At the same time, the head of government emphasized that the virus has not disappeared and residents should continue to protect themselves, their loved ones and the whole society from coronavirus.

Earlier it was reported that the Baltic countries will open internal borders on May 15 for the movement of residents between Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
