China News Service, May 15 (Xinhua) According to the WeChat public account of the Chinese Embassy in Peru, the Chinese Embassy in Peru issued a notice on May 14 requesting that Chinese citizens staying in Peru due to Peru's national emergency state should file personal information with the Embassy as soon as possible.

  The notice stated that since 06:00 on March 16, 2020, Peru is in a national emergency and has adopted a series of prevention and control measures to fully close the sea, land and air passenger borders. On March 20, the embassy issued a notice requesting that Chinese citizens who stayed in Peru because of Peru's national emergency, file personal information with the embassy as soon as possible. The embassy is intensifying coordination in various aspects, and strives to solve the problem of detention of our personnel as soon as possible.

  In order to further understand the information of the relevant personnel and provide corresponding assistance in a targeted manner, Chinese citizens currently stranded in Peru are requested to file with the embassy in the following manner (stayers who have previously filed and received a verification call from the embassy should not repeat the filing):

  Please send the following complete information to consulate_per@mfa.gov.cn of the Embassy Consular Department before May 16, 2020: name, gender, age, identity (specify tourists, short-term business, family members, etc.), passport number, Peru Local contact phone number, domestic mobile phone number, WeChat account, place of residence, domestic habitual residence, physical condition, date of entry into Peru, temporary residence address in Peru, domestic home address, domestic service unit, reasons for returning home and other special difficulties.
